General Information

The Missouri Junior Academy of Science (MJAS) provides opportunities for middle and high school students to participate in MAS. Students complete a research project under the direction of a sponsoring teacher/adult. Students create an oral presentation and write a scientific paper over their research. Students must compete at the regional level (see “Regions” tab) to qualify for the state competition. At state, the MJAS activities take place on Friday, prior to the start of collegiate level academy conference events.  Students compete for prizes and awards.
